Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not arrogant, is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not irritable, and does not keep a record of wrongs.

Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus.

Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; proclaim his deeds among the peoples. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell about all his wondrous works!

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.

And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.

Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Answer me, Lord! Answer me so that this people will know that you, the Lord, are God and that you have turned their hearts back.”

And if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.
