Then God said, “Let the earth produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” And it was so.
As water reflects the face, so the heart reflects the person.
Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I won’t do it again.
But rather what is inside the heart—the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit,
which is of great worth in God’s sight.
1 Peter 3:4
For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with my eye on you, I will give counsel.
He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.
So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.
1 Corinthians 3:7
I will thank the Lord with all my heart; I will declare all your wondrous works.
