Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Not only that, but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits—we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8:23

God, create a clean heart for me and renew a steadfast[a] spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us,[a] 5 made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! Ephesians 2:4-5
