The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of his hands.

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me up in glory.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.

Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart celebrates, and I give thanks to him with my song.

The one who lives under the protection of the Most High dwells in the shadow of the Almighty.

But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.

For I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, statutes, and ordinances, so that you may live and multiply, and the Lord your God may bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart be courageous. Wait for the Lord.

Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love — but the greatest of these is love.
